Payton Head, former Student Body President of the University of Missouri, will be coming to the University of Kansas as the keynote speaker for the Center for Community Outreach’s Into the Streets Week. During his time at Mizzou, the school went through turbulent events as discussions over race relations overtook universities nationwide. As a queer black man, he details the adversities caused by race, gender, and sexual orientation. Join us to hear Payton offer strategies to facilitate open dialogue to embrace marginalized communities.
